In a move to strengthen its leadership in lifelong learning and digital governance, Ibn Tofail University held a high-level coordination meeting focused on continuing education. The event brought together academic and administrative leaders from 11 faculties and institutions affiliated with the university.
The meeting served as a platform for evaluating current practices and exploring new pathways to enhance the quality, efficiency, and innovation of university management. The focus was particularly placed on the strategic development of the university’s digital ecosystem in support of continuing education.
Participants engaged in in-depth discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions that highlighted innovative digital tools designed to streamline university administration and training programs. Among the digital solutions presented were:
- The “Training Platform” (Plateforme de Formation): A centralized tool that allows for efficient course management, registration tracking, and real-time monitoring of learning paths.
- “EDM” (Electronic Document Management): A solution enhancing transparency and traceability in institutional operations.
- “E-Inscription” and “E-Certification” Modules: Tools that simplify registration processes and the secure issuance of diplomas and training certificates.
- “Business Intelligence” Tools: Analytics-driven platforms to support data-informed decision-making in continuing education planning.
This initiative forms part of Ibn Tofail University’s broader strategic vision to develop a smart university ecosystem that ensures inclusive, high-quality, and future-oriented education. With over 15 years of experience in continuing education, the university continues to innovate and reinforce its commitment to transparent governance and pedagogical excellence.
The coordination meeting also fostered inter-institutional collaboration, encouraging the alignment of practices and the mutualization of resources across the university’s academic structures.
Through these digital advances, Ibn Tofail University seeks not only to enhance internal operational efficiency but also to offer lifelong learning opportunities that are more accessible and responsive to socio-economic needs. This reflects the university’s ambition to position itself as a national and regional hub of academic excellence and innovation.
The outcomes of the July 3rd meeting will inform the upcoming roadmap for continuing education and digital transformation, with plans to pilot the discussed tools across various institutions starting this academic year. By reinforcing its digital infrastructure and promoting a culture of innovation, Ibn Tofail University reaffirms its role as a forward-looking institution ready to shape the future of education in Morocco and beyond.
