To support students in pursuing higher education and obtaining a better education, ITU students have access to several scholarship opportunities. These scholarships are generally granted based on financial need or academic merit.
In order to ensure that no student is held back in their learning and future achievements due to financial limitations, various forms of financial aid are available, including need-based scholarships, as well as “merit” and “international mobility” supplements to promote excellence.
Eligible Students:
- Low-income students, may receive a scholarship based on social criteria.
- High-achieving students, may receive a scholarship based on academic excellence.

- Research Scholarship: Each year, the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST) grants research scholarships, prioritizing doctoral students whose applications meet the following excellence criteria:
– Quality of the candidate’s academic record
– Relevance and innovation of the research topic and its alignment with national research priorities
The evaluation criteria and selection methodology for applications also consider the grade received at the baccalaureate level, annual averages for each academic year, and the number of years taken to complete the degree. Any repeated year results in a reduction of 5 points from the total score (out of 80).
Research scholarships are granted for a maximum period of 3 years.
