Students enrolled at Ibn Tofail University (ITU) have the option to reside in one of the four university residences located on or near the campus. These are:

  1. Saknia Residence, a public residence managed by the National Office for University Social and Cultural Services (ONOUSC), located at Avenue El Massira Alkhadra, Route Ain Sbai, B.P: 232.

University housing is available to students who:

– Do not hold any job or position,

– Live outside the city of their institution,

– Are enrolled in a public institution of higher education that does not have on-campus housing.

ONOUSC gives priority to students in need based on social criteria, awarding housing to eligible students in university residences it manages. The allocation of beds in university residences is determined by an automatic ranking of housing requests based on social criteria, including:

– The student’s parental situation,

– Parental income,

– Number of dependent children,

– Academic merit,

– Level of study.

Undergraduate Studies:

  • Housing applications are submitted entirely online via the platform: logement.onousc.ma.

Master’s and Doctoral Studies:

  • Housing applications for these students are submitted directly at the residence in September.

The list of shortlisted students, based on information provided on the platform, will be displayed in the university residences.

Students must then submit a housing application file containing:

– Enrollment certificate from their institution, specifying the level of study,

– High school transcript,

– Certified copy of the National ID card (CNIE),

– Proof of residence,

– Certificate of dependents issued by the civil registry,

– Proof of non-employment for Master’s and Doctoral students,

– Employment certificates of both parents (or guardians),

– Annual parental income certificate issued by the tax authority (form AAP050F/07E).

Additional documents may be requested depending on individual cases.

According to regulations, ONOUSC prioritizes housing for:

– Students with disabilities,

– State wards,

– Children of former resistance members,

– Children of liberation army veterans,

– Children of former soldiers.

Each case must include supporting documentation with the housing application.

The monthly fee is set at 40 DH, totaling 400 DH (approximately $40) for a 10-month stay. Students must pay the full amount at the beginning of the academic year.

The duration of residence varies by study program, as shown in the table below:
