“Kenitra on Bicycles” – Cycling for Health and Sustainability

Ibn Tofail University organized “Kenitra on Bicycles,” a large-scale community event promoting physical health, sustainable mobility, and women’s participation in sports. Held in partnership with the National Association for Physical Activity and Women’s Sports, the initiative gathered students, staff, and local citizens to encourage regular exercise, active transportation, and a healthy lifestyle.
Impact: This outreach program directly promotes SDG 3 by encouraging community-wide physical activity, inclusion, and awareness about the connection between sport and well-being.
4ᵗʰ Blood Donation Campaign – “Be a Hero: Donate Blood and Save Lives”
November 4–5, 2024
The 4th edition of Ibn Tofail University’s blood donation campaign was held at ENCG Kenitra in collaboration with the Regional Blood Transfusion Center. Students, staff, and community members participated in this humanitarian health event, which included awareness activities on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Impact: Strengthened Morocco’s public health system by supporting blood supply needs while raising awareness of community responsibility, solidarity, and preventive health.
ANIR Association – Weekend of Solidarity and Smiles & Humanitarian Caravan 2024
November 2–3, 2024 (Weekend) | Humanitarian Caravan – Ghyata Lgharbiya
The Social ANIR Club of ENCG Kenitra organized two major outreach actions: the “Weekend of Solidarity and Smiles” and the “Humanitarian Caravan 2024.” These initiatives offered over 300 free medical consultations, food aid, and psychological support to rural families. Activities also included mosque renovation and the distribution of hygiene kits.
Impact: Promoted access to healthcare, hygiene, and nutrition for vulnerable communities, directly contributing to well-being and social equity.

Phytotherapy Seminar – “Harnessing Nature for Stress Relief and Cognitive Enhancement”

The Faculty of Sciences hosted a seminar on October 1, 2024, led by researchers from Ibn Tofail University, focusing on the use of medicinal plants for stress relief and cognitive enhancement. The event raised awareness on natural approaches to mental well-being and preventive health through phytotherapy.

7ᵉ Humanitarian Journey – Lions Club Espoir ENCG Kenitra

The Lions Club Espoir of ENCG Kenitra conducted its 7th Humanitarian Journey to the rural villages of Tagant and Boutbel (Essaouira region). The event included medical awareness activities, food distribution, hygiene education, and children’s health programs, led by volunteering students.
Impact: Improved living conditions and access to basic healthcare for marginalized populations while reinforcing students’ civic engagement and empathy.
Artificial Intelligence and Health Conference
April 17, 2024
A national conference led by Dr. Rajae Ghanimi (Hippocrate DS) explored how AI can improve medical diagnostics, disease prevention, and patient care. The event brought together students, professors, and healthcare professionals to discuss innovative solutions to public health challenges.
Impact: Strengthened the link between scientific innovation and healthcare improvement, raising awareness of technology’s role in community well-being.
