Enhancing Student Employability Through Thematic Training Workshops

Partners: Faculty of Human and Social Sciences – Office of Cooperative Development – INJAZ Al Maghrib

Event: 3 – 5 November 2025

As part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen student employability and support professional integration, the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at Ibn Tofail university continued its series of specialized training workshops this week, in collaboration with new institutional and associative partners. These initiatives reflected a proactive approach aimed at equipping students with transversal skills and practical tools to better navigate the labor market.

The first workshop, held on Monday, November 3, 2025, focused on “Self-Employment Through Cooperatives.” Organized in partnership with the Office of Cooperative Development (ODCO), this session highlighted the cooperative model as a viable pathway for entrepreneurship, income generation, and sustainable socio-economic development. Participants were introduced to the opportunities offered by the social and solidarity economy, as well as to mechanisms for the creation, structuring, and support of cooperatives.

The second workshop took place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, under the theme “Orient Your Professional Path,” in partnership with INJAZ Al Maghrib. This training aimed to support students in identifying their skills, clarifying their professional aspirations, and developing a coherent and realistic career plan. Through interactive discussions and practical activities, participants were guided in a structured reflection on their academic and professional futures.

At the conclusion of each workshop, a certificate of participation was awarded to all attendees, recognizing their commitment to personal and professional development. Both sessions were held in Room 18 at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, providing a conducive environment for learning and exchange.

Through these initiatives, the Faculty reaffirmed its commitment to an open and engaged university model, fostering autonomy, initiative, and employability among students, while aligning its actions with sustainable development goals and national priorities for youth employment and entrepreneurship.
