Ibn Tofaïl University strengthens its commitment to sustainable development through membership in the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).
Ibn Tofaïl University has been officially approved as a member of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), marking an important step in strengthening the University’s engagement with global sustainable development initiatives.
The membership was enthusiastically approved by the SDSN Networks Strategy Council, welcoming Ibn Tofaïl University into a global network dedicated to promoting practical solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) mobilizes universities, research institutions, civil society organizations and other knowledge-based actors around the world to advance sustainable development through research, education, policy engagement and collaboration.
As an SDSN member, Ibn Tofaïl University will have the opportunity to connect with a global community of institutions and experts working on sustainable development. The membership will facilitate opportunities for research collaboration, knowledge exchange, joint initiatives, policy engagement and the development of solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Through the SDSN members’ platform, SustainChain, the University’s focal points and staff involved in SDG-related initiatives will also be able to connect with other members, identify potential partners, explore funding and collaboration opportunities, and share sustainable development activities and projects.
This new membership further reinforces Ibn Tofaïl University’s commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to strengthening its contribution to sustainable development at the local, national and international levels.
