Event : 10 April, 2026
Kenitra, 10 April 2026, Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra, through its Career Development Center (CDC), organized a new edition of the “Career Bridge” recruitment event as part of its ongoing efforts to support students’ professional integration and strengthen their employability.
The event brought together approximately 30 leading companies, providing students with opportunities to explore potential internships and employment prospects while engaging directly with representatives of the professional sector. Through these exchanges, students had the opportunity to gain a better understanding of employers’ expectations, required skills, and the evolving needs of the labour market.
A key feature of the event was the direct interaction between students and professionals. These exchanges helped bridge the gap between academic preparation and the realities of the workplace, while enabling students to receive practical advice on career development and professional integration.
The programme also included a range of practical activities designed to strengthen students’ job-search skills. These included mock job interviews, CV development sessions, and specialized professional talks, offering participants practical tools to improve their readiness for recruitment processes and make informed decisions about their career pathways.
The organization of “Career Bridge” for the third time during the current academic year demonstrates Ibn Tofail University’s continued commitment to creating meaningful connections between its academic community and the economic sector. By facilitating direct interaction between students, employers, and professionals, the University contributes to building a bridge between academic competencies and the needs of the national and international labour market.
The “Career Bridge” initiative directly contributes to Quality Education by complementing academic learning with practical career-development opportunities and supporting students in acquiring skills relevant to employment. It also advances Decent Work and Economic Growth by promoting employability, facilitating connections between students and employers, and supporting pathways towards internships and employment. Furthermore, the collaboration between Ibn Tofail University and participating companies contributes to Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening cooperation between higher education and the professional sector.
