This event, held in the faculty’s auditorium, brought together leading experts to discuss the vital role entrepreneurship plays in driving economic growth and sustainable development.

This day provided students with a valuable opportunity to expand their knowledge about the crucial role entrepreneurship plays in job creation, innovation, and the development of key skills. Under the coordination of Professor Achour Fatima Zahra, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty, the discussions addressed essential topics such as the role of entrepreneurship in post-crisis economic recovery and the opportunities it offers to young people and women.

One of the central goals of this study day was not only to benefit students but also to serve the local community. The event aimed to support the creation of financially and socially sustainable businesses within the region. By providing guidance on best practices, the speakers encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs from the local community to develop businesses that contribute to both economic resilience and social equity. The focus on sustainable entrepreneurship ensures that these new ventures can withstand financial pressures while fostering long-term benefits for the community, such as job creation, inclusion, and environmental responsibility.

This support for local entrepreneurship aligns with the faculty’s broader mission of empowering individuals and fostering an entrepreneurial culture that responds to local needs. By equipping students and community members with the tools, networks, and resources needed to succeed, the faculty helps shape a thriving, inclusive local economy.

This study day was particularly beneficial for students, allowing them to better understand the link between theory and practice and gain concrete knowledge of entrepreneurial dynamics. They also had the chance to engage directly with experts and professionals, broadening their perspective on the opportunities for entering the job market through entrepreneurship.

The Faculty of Economics and Management of Kenitra is proud of the success of this event, which reinforced students’ interest in entrepreneurship as a key lever for economic development.
