Ibn Tofail University Celebrates Women’s Day with Sports, Spirit, and Recognition
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Ibn Tofail University organized a vibrant and empowering sports event that brought together over 100 women participants in a celebration of energy, determination, and teamwork. Held in a spirited and inclusive atmosphere, the event served as more than just a physical competition—it became a platform to highlight the strength, resilience, and potential of women in every domain.
From start to finish, the event was infused with enthusiasm, friendly competition, and a deep sense of unity. Participants engaged in a variety of sports activities, showcasing not only physical agility but also the collaborative spirit that defines the university community. At the end of the day, all participants were honored with certificates of appreciation, while the winning teams received medals and well-deserved prizes, recognizing both effort and excellence.
Honoring Women at UIT: A Presidential Tribute
In a heartfelt tribute, Professor Mohamed Larbi Kerkeb, President of Ibn Tofail University, extended his appreciation to all women working across the university’s departments and faculties. The president emphasized their vital role in academic excellence, innovation, and institutional development. Celebrating the occasion, a gift was offered to every woman, a gesture that was warmly received and greatly appreciated by all. The president also shared a message filled with gratitude and admiration:
