
On November 23, 2023, Ibn Tofail University hosted an exceptional study day focused on “Public Policies and Scientific Evidence: Contributions of Impact Evaluation Methods.” This meticulously organized event provided a profound platform for reflection and intellectual exchange among distinguished researchers, academics, and development practitioners, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Subsequent parallel sessions delved into critical areas such as the evaluation of agricultural, environmental, financing, and employment policies. A successfully orchestrated virtual session added a global dimension to the event, enabling the participation of international experts. Online discussions tackled crucial issues such as access to microcredit, labor market reforms, and the economic impact of COVID-19 on Morocco. These debates underscored the importance of well-designed public policies grounded in scientific evidence to combat poverty and promote inclusive development.
The closing ceremony was a solemn occasion where the organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants.
