Social entrepreneurship challenges students to look beyond ideas and consider how those ideas can respond to real needs. It brings together creativity, problem-solving, and social responsibility within a practical learning environment. This approach shaped Empower Summit 2.0 on 18 April 2026, where Enactus Ibn Tofail University secured first place.
Organized by the Enactus student club at the National School of Business and Management of Kenitra, the competition brought together Enactus teams from universities across Morocco. Participants presented their projects, exchanged perspectives, and engaged with different approaches to socially oriented entrepreneurship.
At the center of the competition were the students and the projects they had developed. Through pitching, participants were required to present their ideas in a structured and convincing manner. The process placed emphasis not only on the ideas themselves but also on the students’ ability to explain their purpose and communicate their potential.
The inter-university format added another dimension to the experience. Meeting teams from other institutions exposed participants to different ideas and approaches to entrepreneurship. It also created opportunities for exchange and feedback within a shared competitive environment.
At the conclusion of the competition, Enactus Ibn Tofail University was awarded first place. The achievement recognized the team’s performance and marked a significant result for Ibn Tofail University students participating in the summit.
Beyond the ranking, the experience placed students in a setting where ideas had to withstand presentation, discussion, and comparison. Developing an entrepreneurial project required them to combine knowledge with communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. The competition therefore provided a practical setting in which these competencies could be exercised rather than discussed only in theory.
