Among the standout participants was Hala Harifi, a PhD researcher in Biology and Health, whose innovative study on the neuroprotective and antioxidant effects of melatonin, Opuntia ficus-indica (prickly pear), and EDTA in a manganese-induced Parkinson’s disease model in male Wistar rats captivated audiences and judges alike.
