The Radio Prize was awarded to Nabila Qmimi, journalist at the National Radio, for her outstanding work titled: “The Green March… Pathways of a Nation and Achievements of a King and People.” This recognition reflects her significant media contribution in highlighting Morocco’s national values and major accomplishments.
This honor demonstrates the official and media appreciation for the exceptional efforts made by the younger generation of journalists in conveying Morocco’s message, portraying the country’s national journey, and showcasing historical events and pioneering initiatives within the media landscape.
This achievement is not only a source of pride for Ibn Tofail University, but also a reflection of its strong commitment to promoting quality education and academic excellence. The event aligns closely with three key Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 – Quality Education, through the university’s support for high-level training and research in journalism; SDG 5 – Gender Equality, by celebrating the distinction of a young female researcher in the media sector; and SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, as the awarded work contributes to fostering informed citizenship, strengthening national values, and enhancing public access to reliable information.
