Ibn Tofail University Hosts the First International Conference on Technology, Innovation, and Education

The Faculty of Science at Ibn Tofail University successfully hosted the First International Conference on Technology, Innovation, and Education on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Amphi Rouge, Faculty of Science, Kenitra. Held under the theme “AI’s Dual Impact: Changing the Way We Do Science and Education,” the conference brought together scholars, professors, and researchers from Morocco, the United Kingdom, and Brazil for a full day of high-level academic exchange and reflection on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in higher education and scientific research.

The conference agenda featured a rich and diverse program, including a keynote address and several thematic panels addressing critical and timely issues. Discussions focused on ethics and governance in higher education, AI’s role in employability, and the future of academic writing, scientific integrity, and assessment. Additional panels explored AI in ESP, business, and employability, as well as student learning, critical thinking, and learning dynamics, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating AI into teaching, research, and academic practice.

Through engaging presentations and interactive discussions, participants examined the dual impact of Artificial Intelligence, emphasizing the need to balance innovation with ethical responsibility and academic integrity. The conference provided a valuable platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and international collaboration, reinforcing Ibn Tofail University’s commitment to innovation, research excellence, and forward-looking educational strategies. Participants expressed a high level of satisfaction with the organization, the quality of the contributions, and the relevance of the topics discussed, making this first edition a memorable and impactful academic event that strengthens the university’s position as a key actor in the evolving landscape of science and education.
