Date : 10 February

In a strategic move to bolster entrepreneurial initiatives among students and graduates, Ibn Tofail University has strengthened its collaboration with Groupe Banque Populaire. This partnership aims to provide comprehensive support, including financing and mentorship, to foster the growth of Very Small Enterprises (TPEs) initiated by the university’s community.

Building upon existing agreements, the two institutions have launched a dedicated program designed to facilitate access to financial resources and offer tailored guidance for budding entrepreneurs. This initiative aligns with Morocco’s national objectives to stimulate economic development through entrepreneurship, particularly among the youth.

The program encompasses several key components:

  • Financial Support: Eligible projects will have access to funding solutions provided by Groupe Banque Populaire, including specialized products like “Al Moukawil Chaabi Tajhiz,” aimed at equipping TPEs with necessary tools and resources.
  • Mentorship and Training: Participants will benefit from mentorship programs and training sessions to enhance their business acumen and operational skills.
  • Ongoing Assistance: The partnership ensures continuous support throughout the entrepreneurial journey, from the inception of the business idea to its successful implementation and growth.

This collaboration underscores Ibn Tofail University’s commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among its students and alumni, providing them with the necessary tools and support to transform innovative ideas into viable businesses.

By joining forces with Groupe Banque Populaire, the university not only facilitates access to essential financial services but also contributes to the broader goal of economic inclusion and sustainable development within the region.
