Ibn Tofail University Professor Joins Court of Appeal as Media and Journalism Expert

In recognition of an extensive academic and professional career in media and communication, Professor Mohamed Hamouch, faculty member at the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Humanities at Ibn Tofail University, has been officially appointed as a certified judicial expert in the field of “Journalism and Media” by the Court of Appeal of Kenitra.

This appointment reflects Dr. Hamouch’s academic excellence and longstanding commitment to teaching, research, and the supervision of theses and academic projects in media studies. His active contribution to academic symposia and specialized training in communication has positioned him as a national authority in the field.

Dr. Hamouch recently participated in the official training program for newly appointed judicial experts, held on April 10–11, 2025, at the Institute of Court Clerkship and Legal Professions in Technopolis – New Salé.

His appointment is expected to bring a significant added value to judicial expertise on media-related cases by offering informed and specialized insights that consider the evolving nature of the profession and its contemporary challenges.
