As part of its commitment to strengthening research capacities and promoting a culture of innovation, Ibn Tofail University, in collaboration with the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy, is offering a comprehensive online course (DL-101) on Intellectual Property. This strategic initiative reflects the university’s dedication to equipping researchers, students, and innovators with essential knowledge on how to protect and valorize their scientific and creative outputs.
The DL-101 course is available in Arabic, English, and French and follows a structured calendar that includes registration, orientation, tutoring, and a final examination. Hosted on the WIPO e-learning platform, the program provides participants with an accessible and high-quality learning experience on key concepts of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and industrial designs. Successful candidates will receive an official certificate issued by WIPO, reinforcing the international credibility of this training.
By offering this course, Ibn Tofail University seeks to sensitize the academic community to the strategic importance of intellectual property in fostering innovation, safeguarding creative assets, and enhancing the competitiveness of research outcomes. This initiative aligns with the university’s broader mission to support knowledge transfer, encourage entrepreneurship, and strengthen linkages between academia, industry, and international institutions.
