Ibn Tofaïl University of Kénitra has once again achieved remarkable recognition, ranking first among national universities and maintaining its position within the 401–600 bracket globally, according to the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025, released on June 12, 2025. Recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious university rankings, the THE Impact Rankings evaluate higher education institutions based on their contributions to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted in 2015 by the 193 member states. The 2025 edition assessed more than 2,100 universities worldwide, reflecting a growing global commitment to sustainability. Ibn Tofaïl University stood out in several SDG categories, including No Poverty, Clean Water and Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Life Below Water, and Partnerships for the Goals. This recognition reaffirms the university’s ongoing dedication to sustainability through its academic programs, research excellence, and community engagement.
