Seminar on “The Development Model for Southern Regions and the Challenges of Territorial Unity Defense”

A national scientific seminar organized by Ibn Tofail University, titled “The Development Model for Southern Regions and the Challenges of Territorial Unity Defense”, took place on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in the Ibn Tofail University auditorium. This event was part of a program aimed at supporting scientific research in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and economics, in collaboration with the Ibn Khaldoun Program for Supporting Scientific Research in the humanities and social sciences.

The seminar witnessed the presence of Mr. Azeddine El Midaoui, the President of Ibn Tofail University, and Mr. Ahmed Reda Shami, the President of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council. Also in attendance was Mr. Ahmed Ajaoun, the Dean of the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences in Kenitra, along with a group of professors, researchers, and students.

This seminar served as a platform for scholars and experts to delve into the developmental strategies for southern regions and discuss the critical aspects of safeguarding territorial unity.
